Adjust the volume of the song, chords and metronome with the Mixer

You’ll find the Mixer controls in the Playback Control Strip.

Clicking the Mixer button will give you controls for adjusting the playback volume of the…

  1. Song
  2. Chords (i.e., the sound played when you select a chord), and
  3. Metronome

Using the Mixer is especially handy when a song is particularly loud, and drowns out the sound of the metronome being played while you are using the Count-in feature.

TIP! (on Mac)

An easy want to quickly change the volume of the song, notes and chords is by using keystrokes.

  • Adjust Song Volume:

    • Increase: ⌃↑
    • Decrease: ⌃↓
  • Adjust Notes & Chords Volume:

    • Increase: ⌥↑
    • Decrease: ⌥↓

These are the default keystrokes. You can edit the keystrokes to anything you prefer by going to Control > Edit Keyboard/MIDI Controls…

If you look at your screenshot at the bottom part of Capo where it has the time, you’ll see a word that says “SPEED”. Please click on this to see a list of all of Capo’s Control Strips.

Once you do this, select PLAYBACK.
Once in the PLAYBACK Control Strip, you’ll see the Mixer button.

I figured it out I need to go to the tool bar select view scroll down to control strips
and get what need from there
