Mixer not showing

I am enjoying Capo 4.6 MacOS, love the access and customization of the controls, thanks!

What does the mixer control do?

When I select it nothing happens, that I can see?

It’s been vewy, vewy quiet!

Sorry about the silence! I don’t know why I wasn’t notified about your post. I’m stuck down a bit of a rabbit hole working on some improvements to the beat tracking engine, which isn’t performing as well as I’d like.

Anyway, I’m sitting on a fix for that issue right now[1], and I’m trying to nail a few little tidbits before I send this out to Apple for review. Keep an eye out for 4.6.1, which will have this fixed.

In the meantime, you can set up a keyboard shortcut with a command to set the mixer however you see fit. You can do cool stuff like make one binding to set the song volume to 50%, the metronome to 100%, and enable the metronome while you’re working on timing, and another one to set everything back to 100% and disable the metronome for regular note-finding work.

  1. I can’t believe this one slipped past me in the QA cycle that I ran for the 4.6 update. :man_facepalming: ↩︎

Just to give an update here, I submitted 4.6.1 to the store with this fix just now. Hopefully it won’t be long before you see it on the store.

Awesome Chris,

Thanks!
