On the iPad, typing in the song title or part of the song title doesn’t bring up the song. Instead, I have to go browse manually by artist. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? For example, typing ‘Clay’ in the search bar doesn’t not find the song Clay Pigeons. I have go browse to Blaze (artist name) in order to find the song. Thanks
You’re probably not doing anything wrong, but I want to make sure I understand you correctly first.
When you tap “Browse Music Library”, are you looking through the Songs list and searching from there? If so, are you able to scroll down and find the song in the whole list? (If it’s not in that list, but in the Artists list, then I am chasing a different problem.)
Also, is this a song that you have a full album for in the library, or is it a song you keep in a playlist somewhere? I ask because I’ve seen a weird issue where—when I add a playlist created by Apple Music editors to my library—individual songs from those playlists don’t seem to show up in my global list of Songs. I can only find them by browsing to those Playlists.
Another thing to check—can you let me know the full title/album/artist details as you see them in Capo? A snipped up screenshot that just shows the song in the Songs and Albums list would be helpful. We had a problem in the past where searches weren’t matching songs when certain characters appeared in (I think) the artist’s name.
Anyway, hopefully we can figure out what’s going on here.
Sorry for the delayed response. I got really busy after I posted the question. I can’t recreate the problem now. When I search for Artist or Song, the desired results come up.
Once thing I did notice is that once you search, the search option disappears and doesn’t come back unless you cancel the “add” and hit the + sign again.

I just noticed the weird disappearing act with the search on my iPad as well. I’ll have to see what’s happening there; I must have missed something that Apple changed in the last major update to iOS.
