macOS 26 Tahoe still in beta but…

I’ve just started playing with this version of macOS and I haven’t even fired up Capo yet. Do you have any ideas if there will be any problems?

From a user standpoint, despite the new Liquid Glass stuff, the apps I’ve tried so far haven’t broke, but I haven’t dug deep.

I’m not aware of any Tahoe-specific issues with Capo, but it’s still very early days. I haven’t personally encountered any major issues running Capo on Tahoe since the first beta (we’re on beta 8 now), but I haven’t been running the store version of the app—most of my time in Tahoe is spent reworking Capo for the new design on macOS.

The main change for macOS Tahoe is that I’m getting rid of the Heads-Up Display at the bottom of the window, along with its fiddly Control Strip. Instead, Capo will now (finally?) take advantage of the standard toolbar system, which is fully customizable.

That sounds interesting! I’m curious to see how that works.

Now you can find out, because Capo 4.6 for macOS is (finally) available!

Here’s the updated product site which has updated screenshots, in case some of you aren’t on Tahoe yet:
