Cannot match Capo's tempo to Musescore

I transcribed Django Reinhardt song I’ll see you in my dreams. In that one I got the metronome to match perfectly to my musescore 3 I don’t know if your familiar with that software.
But when I want to tab Europa by Santana I can not get it to match, even after playing around with the tempo settings in musescore. Do you ever run into that if so how can I work around that.
I record the screen on I’ll see you in my dreams and as the notes are playing I have them muted it matches up with capo some songs like Europa I can’t match

With many recordings—especially older ones—you may be fighting with tempo drift in the song.

The tempo that is displayed in Capo is based on the actual beat locations in the recording, and represents an average over the whole song. For example, if a song slowly drifts from 90 to 100 BPM, Capo would show an average tempo of 95 for the whole song.

So with that in mind, you can’t really synchronize some recordings to a MIDI sequencer. Only if the band recorded with a click track would you have a shot at making this work.

Here I wanted to show you I just learned why I was having trouble matching this with musescore
measures 1 & 2 are slightly longer than the rest. That’s why I can not match the notes to that mp3 (capo). I got to thinking this might be a part of the same bug I don’t know. Just wanted to point it out to you. Not all the songs I transcribe are like that most of them are good

I don’t know if this is working. This is another song by John Scofield I uploaded to capo measures are not the same length. I thought I load the mp3 for ya to see how it works on your end thank you

I got my hands on both songs, and Capo’s locked in on the beat grid for me for both.

These are two good examples of musicians recording without a click track. You’ll never match this kind of a recording to a MIDI sequencer playing at a constant tempo.

This is exactly the reason why Capo detects & stores absolute beat locations, and plays its metronome clicks based on those locations. It’s harder for me to do it this way, but the result is far better.

I forgot about the click track part someone else explained that to me awhile ago makes sense garage band been working okay on that part I use garage band also when I run into that there I can easily match the notes with the mp3 to musescore thanks
