3090.1 - Region Navigation using left and right arrow keys

Keyboard controls are working now, thanks. I love the 5% speed up/down control and configurable too :ok_hand:

Issue:
I use regions all the time and am very used to using the left & right arrow keys to take me to the start or end of a region. The new default is to take me to the prev/next bar instead.

I can edit the left arrow to take me to the “previous region start” which will take me to the start of the current region if I’m part way through, and on a 2nd key press to the start of the previous region. While this restores the functionality I want it’s different to how I’m used to using the left & right arrow keys.

There is no option for “end of current region” but I suspect it’s seldom used. I mapped the right arrow to be "go to “next region start”.

The problem I see with this is the UX, which is always a major issue for users.

I’m pleased to tell you that this is already possible!

Have you noticed that “region start” is drawn in blue? That’s because it’s an editable parameter in the command, and you can double-click it (or, right-click and choose Edit…) to bring up the parameter editor:

From there, you can change “Region Starts” to instead be “Region Boundaries”, which will include the end of the regions—just like the old behaviour.

So anytime you encounter a command in the list that has blue text like this, take a look at all the available options to see what else is possible.

Cool! Thanks, I’ll have a play with that
